The Booker Prize Recently Released Beautiful Book Trailers
On September 16th, The Booker Prize announced its 2024 shortlist. What’s more exciting is the recent release of the well-produced book trailers last week. I love the captivating performances in these clips. Just like movie trailers, they tease the viewer with captivating scenes and leave them with a newfound curiosity about the book.
What is a Book Trailer?
A book trailer is a short, emotionally charged video created to promote an upcoming book. Typically lasting between 30 and 120 seconds, the production can range from simple, featuring dramatic narration, music, and still photos, to more elaborate setups with real actors performing a scene from the book.
Initially, I planned to only read James; and maybe Orbit. After viewing these trailers, I am 100% ready to dive into James, Orbit, and Creation Lake.
